description abstract	Scope: The requirements in this Supplement cover single-serving cold beverage dispensers for household- or hospitality-use. These requirements are in addition to or modify the applicable requirements in the main body of this standard. These requirements cover an appliance incorporating thermoelectric cooling for the water reservoir. Household drink dispensers with a vapor-compression refrigeration system would be evaluated to these requirements and the applicable requirements from the Standard for Refrigerating Units, UL 427 for Component Refrigeration Systems Integral to Other Appliances. These requirements do not apply to products intended for commercial use, such as those found in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or other business establishments where food is dispensed.
