Abstract: The project target area generally is the geographical area or portion thereof in which the sponsoring entity has an interest. If the project is to reduce property damage, the focus will be on areas in which property is concentrated, i.e., cities and towns. If reduction of crop-hail damage is the primary function, the target usually will be significantly larger.
