Abstract: This Recommendation provides techniques to mitigate rain attenuation that should be considered in order to facilitate the introduction of BSS systems in frequency bands between 17.3 GHz and 42.5 GHz. Such techniques include increase in e.i.r.p., hierarchical transmission and broadcasting system assuming storage in receiver.
