Abstract: Scope: These requirements apply to connected (smart enabled) appliances with a control to receive and respond to a command from a wireless or remote location control device. These requirements add to the applicable requirements in the body of this Standard. These requirements are not applicable to handheld wireless controls that can only transmit commands within line-of-sight, such as infrared transmitters.
