Abstract: Scope: This standard covers requirements for the installation, maintenance, and use of waste and recyclables storage rooms, containers, handling systems, incinerators, compactors, and linen and laundry handling systems. This standard does not include design criteria for the purpose of reducing air pollution. For such criteria, consult the authorities having jurisdiction. The requirements in this standard shall not apply to one- or two-family residential structures.
