Abstract: This specification covers hydraulic accumulators having a single-shell design with a piston type separator for use in aircraft hydraulic systems at rated pressures ranging to 3,000 pounds per square inch (psi) between the temperature range of -65 °F to 275 °F.Intended Use: This aircraft hydraulic accumulator is intended for use in aircraft for both type I and type II hydraulic systems specified in SAE AS5440.
